One of the reasons I have spent over 20 years in real estate here in Southwestern Nassau County is the community. There is nothing quite like the energy of a walkable downtown village. Rockville Centre is famous for its dining and nightlife, and as of this week, it just got a little bit sweeter.

I recently had the privilege of attending the Grand Opening of the Pink Bakery, and I wanted to share the experience with you. If you are looking for a new spot for coffee and a treat, or just want to see what is new on Park Avenue, keep reading.

A Dream Realized on Park Avenue

Located at 24 N. Park Avenue, nestled perfectly between local staples Press 195 and Blue Moon, Pink Bakery has officially arrived. The soft opening was back on January 10th, 2026, but the Grand Opening on January 14th showed just how excited the neighborhood is. The place was absolutely packed!

Meet the Family Behind the Counter

What makes our local villages special are the people. This isn't just a franchise; it is a family-owned business. I had the chance to chat with the owner, Amrita Brasse, who was there with her husband and daughter working the floor.

Amrita shared that she has been baking for quite a while and this French-themed bakery has been a dream in the making for a long time. Seeing a local family execute a vision and bring it to life is exactly the kind of spirit that keeps property values and community morale high in Rockville Centre.

What's on the Menu?

As the name suggests, the interior is vibrant and pink—a fun addition to the block. But the real stars are the pastries. They are serving up:

  • French-themed baked goods.

  • Fantastic looking cupcakes.

  • A wide variety of donuts.

Why This Matters for RVC Real Estate

You might wonder why a Real Estate Broker is blogging about cupcakes. The answer is simple: Lifestyle.

When you buy a home in Rockville Centre, you aren't just buying four walls. You are buying the ability to walk down Park Avenue on a Saturday morning, grab a coffee and a donut at a family-owned shop, and bump into your neighbors. Thriving small businesses are a leading indicator of a healthy real estate market.

I want to wish Amrita and the entire Brasse family the best of luck. They have already drawn quite a crowd, and I appreciate them investing in our community. Go down to 24 N. Park Avenue and give them a try!

Are you looking to move to a community with a vibrant downtown like Rockville Centre? Or perhaps you are looking to sell in this area? Let's connect.
