Need a laugh? Comedy is our favorite type of live performance. Long Island gave rise to some of the most iconic comedians of our time. Jerry Seinfeld, Andy Kaufman, Billy Crystal, and Lenny Bruce not only helped shape comedy, but they're all from Long Island, and many of them got their start performing in our local comedy clubs.

An independent, woman-owned venue in Astoria, this comedy club attracts acts from all over the world. Not only does Q.E.D. hosts live comedy, they also have a recording studio, and rehearsal space. There is even a little bar and cafe with beverages, board games, and books. Finger foods are also available to order. Event tickets can be purchased on their website. For any aspiring comedians, Q.E.D. also hosts classes as well as several open-mic nights throughout the month.
