This indoor facility is a great place to learn to skate. Public skate sessions throughout the afternoons and evenings take place all winter long at The Town of Oyster Bay Skating Center at Bethpage Community Park. The Rinx at Hauppauge is a beautiful facility offering public skating sessions, ice skating lessons, ice hockey camps, figure skating lessons, pre-school, day camp, swimming, and birthday party rentals. For over 26 years, Newbridge Arena has been hosting skating schools and youth hockey leagues. Public skate sessions take place Wednesday through Saturday and 30-minute private lessons are available for between $30 and $50. Skate rentals are available, or you can buy your own at the pro shop.
