When selling your home, your facade has a large role to play. It's front and center on your listing photos, and it's the first thing potential buyers see when touring your home. Making a good first impression is important for generating interest in your listing and foot traffic.

Our real estate agents always tell clients to never underestimate the power of curb appeal when it comes time to sell their home. Do everything you can to make the outside shine so buyers can fall in love at first sight. Here are a few curb appeal upgrades you should definitely make before selling:

  1. Add A Fresh Coat Of Paint
    Painting is one of the easiest and most effective ways to spruce up your curb appeal. Paint the front door, the porch, the shutters, the garage door, and the trim. New paint will really make your facade appear night and bright. Just avoid using any odd or mismatched colors!

  2. Rejuvenate Your Lawn
    A bright, healthy lawn is an important component of your home's curb appeal. If your grass is browning or your lawn is full of weeds, you'll definitely want to start rejuvenating things as soon as possible. Once things start looking better, then don't forget about regular maintenance. Make sure to mow the lawn, pull weeds, rake leaves, and water your grass as needed.   7. Add Some Window Boxes
    Window boxes with nice flowers are a quick and easy way to add some extra color and greenery. Add some boxes to your street-facing upstairs windows. Pansies or petunias are great choices.
