Mission of The Billy Mac Foundation

The Billy Mac Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Their mission centers on assisting homeless veterans across Long Island communities. Clean socks represent the most requested yet least donated clothing item at shelters. The foundation collects and distributes brand-new socks to veterans experiencing housing instability. They also provide essential personal hygiene supplies to shelters and outreach centers. These care packages include deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and grooming supplies. These daily items help veterans maintain personal dignity and health as colder weather arrives.

Afternoon Highlights, Raffles & Entertainment

Guests will enjoy an energetic afternoon filled with charity entertainment at Daytona's. The charity drive features exciting drawings and community activities throughout the afternoon.

Sports Memorabilia & Gift Basket Raffles

Attendees can enter multiple raffle drawings for premium gift baskets. Two featured baskets include authentic signed New York Islanders and Rangers memorabilia. Local sports fans can bid on genuine hockey collector items to support the cause.

50/50 Charity Drawing

The event will feature a high-stakes 50/50 charity cash raffle. Half of the drawing proceeds go directly to fund supplies for local veterans. The remaining portion rewards one lucky winning ticket holder.

Dining, Music & Community Networking

Daytona's kitchen will serve delicious food and refreshing drinks to guests. Live music and dancing will create a celebratory atmosphere for attendees. The afternoon provides a welcoming space to network with dedicated neighbors and organizers.

Why Your Support Matters This Winter

Winter on Long Island brings freezing temperatures and challenging conditions for unhoused veterans. Proper footwear and clean socks prevent severe foot injuries and cold-weather infections. Hygiene products protect general physical health and build personal confidence. Every dollar raised helps purchase warm items before severe frost sets in. Attending this fundraiser directly funds vital deliveries to local veterans shelters.

Venue Location & Practical Travel Directions

Daytona's is located at 385 Conklin Street in the heart of Farmingdale. The venue sits directly along Conklin Street, east of Main Street. Travelers using The LIRR can take the Ronkonkoma branch to Farmingdale station. The station platform sits just two blocks north of Daytona's entrance. Drivers taking The Southern State Parkway can use Exit 32 North onto Route 110. Drive north on Route 110 and turn east onto Conklin Street toward The Village. Drivers taking The LIE can use Exit 49 South onto Route 110. Continue south to Conklin Street and make a left turn toward the venue.

Parking & Facility Access

Street parking is available along Conklin Street and adjacent municipal lots. Village parking fields near the railroad station provide ample public spaces. The venue provides street-level entrances for convenient pedestrian access.
